Morning,

When I was a kid the only gecko I knew about was the "dayglow" I seem to remember... in the last few years I have not even heard the name mentioned.

Do any of you keep them or are they known by another name?

Not interested in getting any just now but just curious!

Those will likely be day geckos as they are for the most part bright green and are day active.

probably a day gecko as you said you heard it when you was a kid not sure how old you are but im guessin it not sunglow because its not an old morph

Most probably a day gecko.
there are quiet common i keep a pair of giant day geckos

I am sure that it was "dayglow gecko"... bright green/yellow..

Definitely not a Sunglow then....from the colours you're describing it sounds typical of a day gecko
