I am going to wales to my grandmas and I was thinking of taking my leopard gecko too. The journey is about a minimum of 1 hour and a maximum of 1 and a half hours. Will this work? If it will what do I do for a tank heat source etc?

Well you could do it in theory but its going to be stressful on the gecko, their not the type of pet your meant to take on visits with you... _________________ Kind Regards,

hi are you moving there or just want 2 take it with you? because probably best to leave it behind with someone if your just stayin over instead of stressing it out.
but if you need to take it put it in a small plastic tub wrap a towel around it, maybe turn on the heating in the car and it should stay warm 1 and half hours isnt going to harm it tbh

Indeed but this does without question stress the gecko, they don't like being taken out of their habitat's without reason.
Transporting them because you've bought one is sometimes necessary but not just to show someone. _________________ Kind Regards,

Yes stress is a factor - how old is the gecko? I recommend that baby leos are not taken on trips but you could take an adult with you. Make sure they have a big container, their food and a good water bowl. A journey under 2hrs should be fine.. |
