Hi,
just fed my western hognose and i noticed that some of its aspen bedding was in her mouth, i pulled a couple of pieces out but was unable to get some other pieces out in time.
This is the first time this has ever happened to me, i feed her onto of her hide but somehow has decided to drag it off into the bedding
anyone know how this will affect this snake should i be getting really worried. |

I'm sure it will be fine mate..I have had animals ingest small bits of aspen when feeding and had no problems..Maybe worth laying a sheet of kitchen towel over the aspen when you feed next time if you are worried,or feed in another tub _________________

Hoggies are real messy eaters, quite often swallowing anything that is stuck to the food, so long as it's not sharp and the snake is correctly hydrated and has a fresh water supply then it's not normally a problem. _________________
