The Guide Bridge shop is awful now. It used to be managed by my mate and it used to be great. He now owns the shop in stockport, you should check it out, you wont be disappointed. Its a great place Very Happy

I haven't been to the guide bridge one for ages now, but yeah I'll have to pop in the stockport one. Do you work there? I saw the pics of you with the monitor in the shop I think?

The aperture IS on f5.6 (wow you are good Shocked )..... must be the default as i have no idea how to change it Rolling Eyes Laughing

switch to aperture priority mode and set the aperture a fair bit higher maybe f11 to start and see whats in focus..the larger the number the more you will get in focus but you will need slower shutter speeds as a compromise so tripod maybe needed to avoid blur..heres a hog pic for example at f16

in AP mode you just set the f number and camera sorts shutter speed...but sometimes in low light you will get a slow speed which will mean a tripod is needed.

Here is one set at f8



A bit better, i tried one at 13 and the shutter took about 20 sec Shocked

As you can imagine very blury.

Cool Thats nice mate..this is where you have to start to compromise..up the iso speed and play with exposure compensation too..I switch to manual mode if AP isn't giving me the shutter speeds and just experiment.
