Do you put her back in the viv once she bites you???
If you do, perhaps she's got into her head that ..biting = being left alone..
Also, are you sure she's not half tokay?? _________________

I was thinking along those lines as well. _________________

A simpler explanation is that as someone else said; she may not like being handled. Contrary to popular belief cresties do not uniformly enjoy being handled, its probably nothing more complicated than that. _________________ Kind Regards,

I agree with Chris (exhalted gecko). It could simply be he does not like being handled. _________________ Best wishes, Jackie

Thanks for all the replies and possible answers. s/he isn't so bad now. I cleaned his tank out and decided to add alittle more foliage and s/he seems alot calmer than before. still not perfect but defiantly better. Maybe s/he was just getting stressed out i have been moving him around abit which isn't good i know. I also haven't been forcing (for lack of a better word) him to come onto my hand so much just let him come to me and now after a bit of time s/he does just crawl onto my hand. I just think s/he maybe the type to get scared/stressed easily.
Keeping fingers crossed! Thanks again everyone! _________________ some people are like slinkies. Not really good for anything but they bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs. |
