have decided against the viv for now due to costs mounting up and am instead converting the table I have at home already and dont really use!

its has a deep shelf with a large floor area compared to a vivarium and is fairly low which is fine for the geckos as they are not climbers.

and the good thing is all I need is runners and glass fitted and its ready to go, just need to find somewhere that cuts glass and am struggling.

its already holed at the back so all I need to do is glue wire gauze over the hole and it will be ventillated, easy to drill a few holes in the top and side for heatmatt and a moon light..

what do you think?

That would look pretty smart.
but.
If you where to have a TV on top the noise could cause unneeded stress.
and you would also need to but a piece of wood to act as a substrate holder.

Yea mattrethy's right, it would look nice but noise would cause stress. Noise would also cause vibrations that would also be stressful. What size is the actual viv?

there is nothing on it at the moment just junk, I have another for my tv..

I was going to put a rim across the front so that there can be around 1 inch of substrate then mount the glass runners on this.
