yeah i agree with that,a lot of polymorphs are made by interbreeding of specific island locales,eg it is very hard to find a totally blue nosy be in the wild,most contain red scales yellow and the true blue is said to be a poly.
I do agree that humans may have released mainland locales to the nosy's blurring the lines slightly
