Well I decided to check the crestie tank for eggs this morning and found this one on the top of the soil in one of the plants. It's pretty soft and not very white but I decided to keep it anyway. I read that first time eggs are often infertile and singly laid on the top of the soil, if this is true then I guess my girl followed the rules to a tee.
Anyway although it's probably a duff, I guess it's good news that they have mated and I'll get some good eggs from her eventually. Here's a couple of pics of the single egg |

Well the good with the bad I guess, but the main thing to keep in mind is that she laid & is still ok ...
Good luck with future clutches!!!

Thanks guys and yeah I'll keep it for a bit and see what happens. I'll make sure the female is alright tonight and give her some calcium dusted roaches. |

Ah man, unlucky Phil ...I'm sure there will be some fertile eggs coming in the future though! My Female's first clutch (That I know of, she was 18 months when I got her) was fertile and hatched, so I'm guessing I'm pretty lucky! _________________ 1.1.1 Crested Geckos
