what do you guys use to kept your crested geckos warm in the winter

Erm, low wattage red bulb or heat mat on the back maybe - to be honest I have never thought about it so not the best person to answer.

i reckon just a heat mat roughly the size of the back of the tank placed at the back of the tank will be fine..

that's too big really, you should never go for more than one third of any surface whether it's the floor, back or ceiling.

so i can use a heat mat but just a small one
and could i use a red light when they get get big and there in there exo Terra so i can watch them at night

I know they can't see red light, I've never heard anything saying they can't see blue though...
