you'd end up with a clutch of 50% visual albinos het for axanthic, and 50% double hets. |

Ok thanks, what about axanthic 100% het albino, to a het axanthic x het albino ?
Also, whats the odds on keeping the albinos from axanthic 100% het albino and visual albino, breeding the baby's back ? _________________ www.unusualalbinosnakes.com |

Axanthic 100% het albino x DH albino axanthic....
12.5% Het. Axanthic,
25% Het. Axanthic, Het. Albino,
12.5% Het. Axanthic, Homozygous Albino,
12.5% Homozygous Axanthic,
25% Homozygous Axanthic, Het. Albino,
12.5% Homozygous Axanthic, Homozygous Albino
Axanthic 100% het albino x Albino 100% het Axanthic....
25% Het. Axanthic, Het. Albino,
25% Het. Axanthic, Homozygous Albino,
25% Homozygous Axanthic, Het. Albino,
25% Homozygous Axanthic, Homozygous Albino
I've just worked it out from Genetic's Wizard...

The Eggman wrote: | Pete your new axanthic x one of your female albinos will give you 50% albino het axanthic, hold the females back and breed back to the axanthic and you should get 25% double het albino, 25% albiino het axanthic, 25% axanthic het albino, and 25% snow
thats the best way of doing it, breeding double het x double het only gives you a 1/16% chance of hitting a snow, and all the normals are only possible hets.
and i didnt need a genetics wizard for that. |
...
i know how the punette square works but i'm just lazy. Thought the link would help.
All i need to know is...
1 in 16 chance for DH x DH
1 in 8 chance for DH x Het+Visual
1 in 4 chance for Het+Visual x Het+Visual
After about 10 years, and i finally get onto triple homozygous, i'll probably scratch my head, and use the genetic's wizard |
