Its getting to the end of the coolest month here on Bali, and allot of the reptiles have recently mated or are mating now,

I've not seen the Gray's monitors mating before, not as rough as salvadori by the looks of it...LOL

Great image your so lucky living in Bali getting to see all those reptiles in there native habitat.

Thanks for the comments,

The Gray's monitor (Varanus olivaceus) is originally from the Phillipenes, the groups of animals here currently reside in rimba reptile park which I look after.

This group of 4 has previously been successfully bred in captivity but now reside at the reptile park.

They are an unusual monitor in that they will eat fruit as part of their natural diet.

Very cool monitors !
