Last night, I went to check up on my pygmy chameleons, and my male was asleep up against the glass. I noticed a strange marking on his neck - looked like someone had written on him with a biro. It clearly said '13'. Stranger still, when I turned the light on, it faded away before my eyes. It seems his strange markings only appear at night!
I turned the light off, waited for it to reappear, and tried to take some pictures (which freehand in a very dark room is hard!) I could use flash as the glass reflected it.
Was a lot darker and clearer, but the light made it fade again after a few pics. Dunno if you can make it out!

Spoooooooooooky Oh...I've got all the stuff ready for some pygmies...exciting!!! How much do their patterns and pigments change? I know they're not notorious for colour variation, but sounds like there is some change in colour? _________________

I've found their to be a lot of colour changes - okay they're not blues or reds, but personally I think a displaying male pygmy is underrated. Sometimes they surprise you. Some species do have other colours too, (such as blues, purples and yellows)
I guess it is his lucky number!
Strangely enough, the baby I hatched is very pink with some bright orange spots _________________
