Took the family to cotswold wildlife park yesterday for a day out and to catch up with a mate..lovely weather and really is a great day out.The park is immaculate and animals are in superb condition and plenty to see and do,anyway here a few snaps..
These were taken in walk through tropical house..
These were shot through wire mesh..
Some serious red eye!!..(not sure what happened here..lol)
Prairie dogs..
Meerkats and mongoose..
Couple of blue and golds that were out and about..
Giant tort!
and my daughter going for a joyride..although it was making a bee line for my camera bag..lol (spot the photographer shadow! )

Stuart they are !!! I've great! I've a soft spot for the meerkats they never sit still, I bet it was a focus nightmare tryin to get the owls in focus.
What lense was that with btw ?

Cheers mate..they were shot with the sigma 100-300mm f4...I use manual focus through mesh as AF is a bit hit and miss..Get as close to the mesh as possible too..The meerkats are ok to shoot,I use continuous focus and try for a fairly high shutterspeed to try and freeze the action a bit.. _________________
