Here are a few (poor!) pics of the dwarf Caiman at the shop. He is around the 3' mark and is eating weaner rats, chicks, locust and hissing roaches. His enclosure is 8x4x4 with a 4x2x18" pool that is filtered and heated with an external pond filter. He has been set up like this for about 4 months now and is doing great! Its always amazing to see the looks on peoples faces as they first walk in through the door, I'm so sick of answering: "Is that real........?"

It is a great species isn't it? (in looks, fortunately not the size)
Without trying to be the wise guy here (I do not keep any crocodilians myself) I would recommend you to change it's diet to mostly freshwater fish. Crocodilians are known to get teeth pointing outwards if they are not fed fish sufficiently. (aka "guitar mouth") Go for at least 70% fish I'd suggest...

Cheers Siebren, we have tried him on fish, live and dead, and he is not interested! Ill give him another go with a bit more variety (i think i still have some whole rainbow trout in the freezer from the last fishing trip)
