Beautiful animals, Thomas! I wish you the best of luck with them! Do you keep this pair housed together or separately? I have heard from several storri keepers and former keepers, that they can be extremely aggressive towards one another. Have you ever experienced such aggression within your group? I only had contact with a single female storrii, therefore I don't really have any experience with cagemate aggression. Just curious.

Cheers Thomas, and thanks for posting photos of your amazing animals!

Bob

Hi arbo,i keep them both in a 4ft.2ft.2ft viv and i feel that a viv and i think this size a good size for a pair.I provide plenty of hides but both of them only use a hollowed out fibre glass log in which they both retreat to at the end of the day or if their disturbed. They seem to be creatures of habbit the male will come out to bask first then the female will appear an hour or two later. The male is somewhat bigger the female and can be very aggressive towards the female,i have seen him grab her by the hind legs and toss her around for apparently no reason.I've seen him go for a locust and miss it,and what seems to be his frustration walk up to the female grab her and start throwing her around,i've had to brake up a fight on several occasions, but the females seems to forget about very quickly returning to her basking spot while the male slopes of and solks somewhere. It's hard to tell whats aggression and whats mating behavior with them, but as Scott said you learn to read them after a while and i've only had them a short while.
