Hi
My crestie (now dubbed Geldon) occasionally makes a sneezing noise. I think he only does it when I'm opening his tank, it's not aggressive or anything but was wondering if anyone knows why he does it or have cresties that do the same just to make sure he's not ill?
I've read they can be quite vocal but not experienced it with mine. He's only just 8 months old so mabye he's just starting to make noises?
Here he is
Thanks

He looks very healthy to me, and the exo terras provide excellent ventilation so I doubt it is a respiratory problem.
It could be a densive vocalization, if you're sure it only happens when you open the viv. I went to pick up my male crested gecko once and he lightly shook his head and made fairly quiet 'sneezes'. It's quite hard to describe what the noise sounds like, a very short very high pitch frog croak perhaps :/ _________________ Steve P |

He is healthy enough, just curious about why he does it and wanted to rule out hay fever (joke)
Yeah that's pretty much the sound he makes Cleef, a quiet sneeze.
Thanks guys |
