great project Gareth!

Serpent has posted some great hints and tips there, I certainly recommend insulating the floor! and yes keeping the shed COOL in the summer may well be your biggest problem, especially as you have painted it black.

I was going to say that, I would imagine a black shed would get extremely hot in the summer. White would be a good idea for a rep shed, might not make that much difference though.

I'm in the process of setting up a new shed suitable for reptiles, it's metal with a white roof but I think I will definitely need some sort of air cooler for the summer.

Look forward to seeing how it progresses. Wink

just a quick one for the guys who have done a conversion whats the best stuff to use to hold the kingspan insulation in place ?

just wondered if people attached it to the shed with pva or somthing simialr ?

Normally you would frame out the wall and cut the kingspan just tight enough to push fit between the the timbers and then plasterboard over the top.
