One easy way to tell an adult male from female Hoggie is that the males remain ridiculously small, about 18" long and thin. The girls grow large, 30" or so and chunky. It always amazes me how the boys.... erm.... manage to get the job done.
Photo attached - I hope - of one of my female Western Hogs. I have only had her for a couple of weeks and am really pleased with her. My other female is almost as large. This gives you an idea of the size of an adult female. |

Thankyou, yes she is nice isn't she. I believe that she is about 5 or 6 years old, hoping to breed from her and the other female Hog next year, really like Hoggies 'cos their faces are sooo sweet. |
