Hi, i have heard that you can use certain types of cacti that are not artificial in your Leos viv. Is it possible to use Austrocylindropinyio cacti as they are not prickly and give the viv a natural look.
Does anyone else use non-artificial cacti in there viv.
Thanks |

it's actually Austrocylindropuntia south american cacti some get large with larger tuberus roots so I'm not 100% sure they would be good and alot do have some hefty spikes...
Try:
Lithrops
smaller Aloe's
Haworthia

Thanks mate, really helpful.
I have heard the Austroc-thingy majiga grows quite big, at the mo its only about 8cm lol. Its kinda cool coz out of the 15 cacti i have its one of the only two that i can touch without being prickled.lol. |
