Cheers Paul,
A lot of people are fairly unaware of these pituophis and i recently heard them described as 'forgotten beauties'.
The Adults are dramatically different visually to the hatchlings and constantly change as they mature.
Heres an example of a 18month old juve starting to colour up nicely, and a 3 year old F that just keeps getting nicer

First up will be the 24.5grm lump of a F.

Al does the orange on the heads intensify with age or do only certain individuals have the brightly coloured heads?. _________________

Cracking pics. I agree Pituophis in general deserve to be more popular, but those are stunning when grown on and adult. _________________ 31August2008-Kent Reptile Show (Amphibians & Inverts welcome) for more information & Booking e:mail: mrac@sky.com |
