I think it is so long as they both keep their weight up. In winter if there is a drop in temperature they should stop breeding anyway.

I think it's recommended that the females get a break from the males, coz if they continue to mate all year round and the female can get calcium problems due to so much egg laying and the weight of the gecko can't tell you about its calcium levels.....
I would consider spearating them for part of the year Wink It's better to separate them for a bit and keep them both healthy rather than keep them together and hope that the female doesnt run into problems.

That is very true Jo, you can check on their calcium sacs inside their mouths (although I have no idea how to open mine's mouth, I just have to get a quick look when they eat or yawn Very Happy )

If they all stay at a good weight and have good calcium reserves then it should be fine. Tho I am still keeping a spare 45x45x45 exo tank nearby, just in case Very Happy

Good good Cool I also have no idea how to open their mouths... apparently tapping their nose is meant to work but it doesnt seem too... Confused

And I meant "separating" not "spearating"! Sounds like something violent! Shocked Laughing
