I've just had my top lip nipped by my Beardie!! How I could have been so stupid, I don't know. She was trying to cuddle into my neck, as she does, but was getting tangled in my hair. As I pulled her out of my hair, snap...she bit my lip She wasn't in a bad mood or anything, and had already been fed, so not sure why it happened, other than I made her grumpy, because I moved her.
I've had ice on it for the last half an hour, and although it's only a little cut, it's stinging like hell I was determined it wouldn't swell up, as I'd have a difficult job convincing my work colleagues tomorrow, that my partner hadn't thumped me!!!
Anyone else been bitten in a strange place?? Or am I the only daft one here

Oh no, poor you!
A while back Colin was trying to get Greedo(our iggy) from on top of her viv, when she ran at him and bit him in the armpit! He had a red, bruised iguana jaw-imprint there for days! _________________

That brings a whole new meaning to a love bite!!!! ( sorry shouldn't laugh )
I was once bitten on the nipple by one of my Green Tree Pythons. It stung for hours after!!! _________________ Fraser Gilchrist

My face was about an inch away from a 5ft common boa's open jaws once. I reckon it could have bit my nose if it was a cm closer. Makes ya flinch a little.
Not the kind of love bite I like _________________

Someone I work with (think he posts here sometimes so I won't embarrass him by telling you his name!) was holding a baby leopard gecko for someone else to treat a small wound on its belly. It was close to his face and started opening its mouth and squeaking, as they do...
He said "go on then, I dare you", as boys tend to... and, well, it did...
He had a great bite mark on the end of his nose for a couple of days! |
