Thought i'd share this pic with everyone.I took it because i think it displays the stages of egg decay brilliantly.
At least my bad luck will serve some purpose

I suppose it does, but I think I would have been happier seeing 4 good eggs! Cool photo though none the less. |

Hmmmm what a depressing sight, and what makes it worse for me is that I only have to look into my incubator to see roughly the same thing. All of my corn eggs failed this year. Roll on next year |

Thanks Davo,
I had approx 12 eggs to start with, but to be honest most of them looked infertile/bad from day one.
Some you win.....

Interesting shot Al, I may go take a pic of a royal clutch that has a bad egg stuck to some good ones, just to show that rotten eggs DON'T kill good eggs. _________________

Great shot Al.
Here's a shot of some fwc eggs from last year, apart from the obvious car wreck, the other three hatched, much to my suprise.
Cheers

I think it's a good idea to share bad egg pics, so here's a couple of mine.
The funky green ones were from a couple years ago, Everglades ratsnake pairing, they turned this colour in just 2 days
The others are this years from an obsoletus mix, they didn't collapse at all, this was taken near 50 days, but everyone was dud. _________________ www.ratsnakefoundation.org |

Thanks Scott,
I also thought it was a very interesting pic and something quite different subject wise.
Excellent idea In my early breeding years i was sure bad eggs Would kill good eggs and since many experiences have proven the opposite.
