I went out to try and get some photos, as it was a nice day yesterday after a load of bad weather so thought might good be a good day for it, and found a few things around and about...
This one lizard is so unbelievably green, haven't seen them this colour before... camera didn't pick it up that well but it's the second time I've seen it, it's a very distinctive one. Used a Nikon E5700... |

lol how did I forget about it! LOL. Yeah, the first is my favourite... the sun just hit it at the right time from the right angle and it was golden. Wish I had had a better camera/was better quality, could have made an awesome print. |

hmm, i thought it looked like a male. Not sure to be honest, but it's a rather nice specimen all the same. Thanks for further comments everyone.
Scott, I use a very special technique. Move slowly till i'm about 3 foot away and starting shooting pictures, gradually moving closer and closer, while taking pics the whole time. Good eh? They all have different threshhold boundaries they don't like me crossing, probably based on individuals and how much they want to give up their basking spot. I reckon i've had the camera up to 30cms away though before they scurry off. Some are very tolerant of me |

Great pics If they are all native lizards then i didn't realise we had such stunning creatures in this country. |

yup one of 3 (native). Although there is a slowworm so guess that's 2 of 3. |
