Found this nice little surprise awaiting me earlier I can already see one thats goin' to end up really orange.
I've learned over years of 'training my eye' to tell what the adult colours will look like from the drab colours of hatchlings.
It's sometimes hard to believe the difference in adults compared to hatchlings.

Me too mate even though i've had a real rubbish season overall seeing them baby jani earlier cheered me up loads.
Mainly cos of all the pituophis i have these mexican natives are probably the most difficult to fathom and get to reproduce!.

that IS quite a colour transformation they go through.
