have a look in wilkies at the klip it type boxes. the 5.5ltr are £3.99 and have klips on all four sides so impossible for the snake to get out. I am going to use some for my royals when they hatch. DOnt forget to drill/solderburn holes for ventilation.

Errm if they are anything like the ones I got from Wilkies they can get out. Believe me mine has on more than one occassion had to use a lugage strap to kep the lid one.

Watch out if you intend to use cricket boxes as I've seen baby snakes injure themselves by rubbing their noses on the inside of the box on the sharp bits where the holes are.

I use some great little tubs from poundland - guess how much they cost? lol

Clearish sides, white lids with blue clips. Ideal.
