Our tokay gecko, Alistair died tonight. Crying or Very sad
I was changing water in the reptile room, and noticed him lying on his back. I went to turn him over, he barked feebly, twitched then died.

This was totally out of the blue, as he'd been acting normally apart from a slight appetite loss.

Ross (Fatboy on here) rescued him from an appalling pet shop a couple of years ago then gave him to us.

RIP wee man, I'll miss you. Crying or Very sad

Thanks everyone. We've just buried him in the garden and cleaned his viv out. Crying or Very sad

Stuart, I'm totally in the dark as to cause. Apart from a slight appetite/ weight loss recently, he was behaving normally. I hope it was just old age, as we don't know what age he was.

Sorry for your loss, he looked a cracker too, and certainly healthy looking in that pic.
