Confused Sorry to hear your still struggling mate..but I really think its you rather than the lens..shooting birds is bloody hard and takes a lot of practice..try the lens on a tripod and take som static shots..this will rule out the lens being faulty...

Confused certainly looks bad..whack it on a tripod and try a couple..was he a uk seller?

Laughing getting way to technical for me..lol...rattle off some shots indoors of something and rest the camera on a table..try an ornament or piece of jewellry etc and see what happens..

That is awfull...what distance away were you?..the 50mm minimum focus is about 3ft..so guessing you were not any closer?

why such a slow shutter speed?..that was shot at 1/8th of a second..
