planting with corns i would personally go with silk plants. easier to clean, look real, and compared with real plants you haven't got to worry about the humidity levels getting to high?! unless of course you take that into consideration when getting the viv!!
substrate? well that's going to be a matter of preference! me? I use corn cob, some people will steer clear of this in favour of aspen, hemp or various dry wood chip substrates that are now available. nothing moist
size? how much room you got? bigger the better but you really would want to give the whole two corns together some thought. many a forum argument has taken place over this subject, so be warned
i've done it in the past with no problems whatsoever, people do still do it, others will condemn you for even thinking it
hope this helps _________________ best of luck in the new season |

Hi, I was just wondering if you could use sand with corns, my mate is only using newspaper at mo! She wants to try something different! _________________ 1.1.7 Bearded Dragons

In a word no. It would cause irritiation as it can get between the scales, and there is too much a chance of it getting on the food and risking impaction. |

You could try and find some habitat pics, and try and recreate something simular, with a choice of different substrates, branches, logs etc _________________ www.ratsnakefoundation.org |
