Big hello to all, My name is Natalia.
i have a young 8 month old male Veiled Chameleon. I have had him since he was this small. >
He doesn't seem to like me much though, unfortunately. Whenever i go near him he puffs himself up and hisses at me if i get to close ( apart from when i have a wax worm in my hand ) A shame really as i would like him to come out of his Viv more and explore. Any advice would be appreciated.
This is kemari now ^
Also i have just changed his Viv for a large Flexarium from a small exo Terra Viv, he has only been in there a few days but he doesn't seem to be moving around alot or eating.. slightly worried but i hope he is just settling in. ( i have posted this in the Chameleon section for anyone who has some advice )
Anyway, thank you for your time and i have posted a few pictures below of Kemari and me for you to look at! Sorry if some are a bit on the large side!

Hi Natalia, and welcome to the forum. Kemari is lovely. Don't worry too much about him being a bit unsettled after his move. Chams don't like change, and can take a while to adapt to new surroundings. Just keep feeding and misting as usual! _________________

sounds about right for being stressed.
ive found that adult veilds dont like interaction anyway.
but if that isnt the case with yours id chalk it up to stress. _________________ cardboard city. |
