the females are also noticeably larger and have big bulges on the side of the neck.

you should have no problem sexing them.

they are a great species.

particularly nice to watch hunt little tiny crickets.

The bulges are stored calcium and this will depend if they have been properly looked after and havent bred recently.
Generally if bought from a shop they will almost certainly be WC and they are normally all the same size and WILL NOT have bulges.

Steno hatchling

Keep them hot dry and feed them lots, I think that they eat more than a average gecko of their size.
I have 2.7 and feed them approx 1/2 a box of no 2 brown every other day ... and they eat the lot Shocked

Stenodactylus sthenodactylus breed as easy as cockroaches BUT it is very very rare that you will find them in shops for sale.
These little geckos wholesale out at around £2 each for adults, it is just not worth shops buying in juv's. I generally leave the eggs in the viv, if they hatch ..great .... if not I throw them away when I do tank maintenance. I am now on 3rd or 4th generation in my steno viv.
