i have read alot of post saying that the best substrate for a bosc and alot of monitors is a dirt/sand mix. What kind of sand should be used??? Is it ok to use sand from the beach??? Also what should the dirt to sand ratio be?????
Thanks _________________ Curently Keeping:

Most people use play sand, its fairly cheap, readily available and not dusty like some other sands. I would say a 70/30 (soil/sand) mix would work well and some leaf litter too (oak leaves if available)
Hope this helps

You can but play sand from B&Q of Argos etc.... Sand from the beach should be fine though.
