i've had snakes in the past strike but with no intentions of taking, it always looked more like a p*** off and leave me alone strike to me.

She was offered a small adult mouse last night and struck at it twice but did not attempt to keep hold of it.
Have you tried feeding her gerbils yet ??If not do it as soon as possible because the reason she is probably not keeping hold of it is that she is unsure of it because she dose not know the smell.
What did the vet say ?? _________________ go to www.myspace.com/korbinband |

Any progress?
What does a vet think?
Have you tried tubing or live yet?
Just curious as to progress on it, hope it's doing okay.

Progress report:
She shed perfectly
I tried my hand at a little bit of assist feeding her a 4 week old mouse last night - she didn't refuse it, she swallowed it herself and it's still inside her this morning. _________________ A lil bit of Madagascar

Are we to assume you did not take her to a vet then? If yuo did what did they say about it? Given that you said this change in condition was rapid (approximately 3 days) it should be the first course of action.
It is good news that she has had something to eat and kept the food down so far, but I still think a visit to the vets is in order. This is just to make sure nothing else is wrong with her that would need a vets attention.
If you do not know of a herp vet in your area just ask. It ishow I found out about the one where I live, I just asked a coule of people and they all said the same name so that is the one I would use if the need arises. |

My herp vet isn't available every weekend and as she improved dramatically I decided against having a day off work. Will try to sort something out in the immediate future tho, like you say, make sure.
I shall post the pics I took of her a couple of days after the original pics to show you her improvement so I don't get slated by everyone again
Thanks for help and suggestions guys and gals, will keep you updated. _________________ A lil bit of Madagascar

Still get her to the vet. There could be an underlying problem going on.
I know if it was my royal, and it looked like that, it would be straight to the emergency vets. The herp vet may not work every weekend, but im sure they would get someone else to take a look for you.
I am glad she has got some food down her _________________
