Ok,
I have finally persuaded my mum to get me a reptile and i was going to get a crested gecko, have been searching everywhere but no one has any at the moment. I looked in a new reptile shop a couple of miles away from me yesterday, which is really good, and they had a beautiful little pictus gecko. as its unlikely that i will be able to get a crested gecko fot a couple of more months now, i think im gonna get the pictus gecko from the shop, it looked very healthy. Ive been doing some research on tinternet but i would like any advice and general care info from anyone who has kept these little beauties,
thanks,
Chris. |

These are really easy to keep.Use a substrate that can be lightly sprayed and will hold a little moisture[not sand].They like to hide in corkbark hides and climb on low logs and rocks.Use the same temps as you would for leopards. |

Fantastic little lizards - very simple to keep. Mine are kept pretty much the same as Leopard Geckos, but on coco fibre substrate and sprayed lightly every-to-every-other day. |
