have any of u guys used compost in corn snake vivs before and have u had any problems (sorry if this is a bad question got told by local shop that i could but just wanted to make shore) thankx john _________________ snakes and lizards

Haven't used it in snakes' vivs before, but I would imagine it would be a bit of a hassle. You would need to bake the compost first, to make sure it wasn't carrying any germs or parasites, and it could cause problems at feeding time with impaction.
Corns are fine to keep on newspaper or aspen bedding.  _________________

Is there a particular reason you want to use compost? If not i would stick with newspaper, aspen or beech chips. |

Just set up an egg laying box for her, something nice and secluded with some humid moss should do the trick.

I know you can get battery operated thermometre's from most aquatic centres to use in fish tanks. You should be able to use them for reps too. They normally have a probe that goes in the tank/ viv, then a little screen that goes outside. |
