Hi Guys,
I have not had much exposure to chameleons but i was wondering there someone with information on the Armored Leaf Chameleon. I believe it is also known as the Antsingy Leaf Chameleon. The latin name is Brookesia perarmata.
I believe they are endangered in the wild but what is the status of captive populations.

Well, they are CITESI I think and very rare in the hobby these days. I remember seeing them in reptile shops years ago (getting old) and now you are lucky if you can find any at all. Very cool little chams. If I could find any at a reasonable price I'd snap them up. But if you manage to find them expect to pay quite a lot. |

Stunning chams but as Rob says they are cities1, and i second what he says about snapping them up, i for one would love a pair of these guys but i reckon the chances of that are just about nil _________________
