what can I say, I think everyone who was there would say that it was a great sucess! well done CSFC for pulling it off.
Very nicely organised, plenty to keep children amused too.
All seemed VERY professional, although perhaps the overall judging took a little too long.
It was an excellent first show & I'm sure the next will be even better. I heard a few good ideas that would help build the day into a great Reptile Day for all people, not just those who enter corn snakes. Even though I didn't actually enter anythiny this year, it was still a very interesting day.
I actually took a few animals for display only and was extremely impressed with a certain young boy who asked some very well thought out questions about Crested & Gargoyle geckos, if all prospective keepers were even half as responsible as this young boy, the future of our hobby would be great.
As for the Breed Show, I for one would definately like to go again next year.
once again, well done Tanya, i'm sure a great day had by all! _________________

Kids still at inlaws so needed to get back to Cambridgeshire, so loaded car up had a cuppa and left about 8.30, I got on at jctn 11 and was overtaken by 2 ambulances and a fire engine and the overhead display says slow accident I went " NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!" but it was on the hard shoulder so I got past! I was Phew!! Then there was an accident at jctn 15 that was a little slow but not too bad thouht cant be more can there?? YEP sods law accident between 16-17 so that slowed us right down as thats a lond distance between jctn and it was right on 17 and we were queued back to 16 which is 8 miles I believe?? ANyway finally got round that and it was good traffic all the way till I got home at 10.30pm!! SO the moral is I will post some pics as soon as I can on tuesday!

For the first show I'm immensely pleased with what we achieved and the feedback I've got back has been nothing but positive. We've all come away with some new ideas and some fine-tuning that will be incorporated into next year - at least, I know I have. I've promised myself a couple of days to get my mind, body, spirit and house back to some semblance of normality again but I can't switch my brain off!
Everyone involved worked so bloomin' hard all day and I really can't thank them enough. When anyone talks about good teamwork and people pulling together for a great result - well, I will always think of the team that worked to bring this show into reality and I'm absolutely bursting with pride at each and every single person who was involved yesterday. _________________ Regards, Tanya
