I decided it was time I took more picture of my Grande Terre leachies so here they are!!!
This is Gandalf, he is a typical Mt Kohgis dark morph leachie - most of you will be familiar with him from the forums but if you don't knw him here is his background. I bought him as an adult just over 3 years ago from Hamm reptile fair in Germany as an adult. I have kept him on his own ever since due to his large size - I measured him today at 15 inches, although he is quite lightweight for his size only 300g. He is a poor feeder, although recently he has started to take the Repashy superfoods, his main diet consists of banana baby food and cockroaches supplemented with vitamins and minerals. Anyway enough about him here is!!!

This is Arwen - she is also a Grande Terre leachie but she is a lighter morph. Arwen came to me as an 18 month old juvie 2 1/2 years ago. She had suffered from MBD as a youngster and as a result has a slightly kinked back over her hips and shoulders, although this hasn't affected her climbing ability or agility she is stunted in size. She is only 11 inches long and weighs just under 200g, again like Gandalf she is a fussy eater but she will eat more of the foods than him the variety she will eat is still limited. Again here she is...

Here are a few of them together to show size and colour comparison...

This last photo looks like he's trying to breed but he is just climbing over her!!!

Obviously due to size and Arwen's condition the chances are we won't be pairing them and trying to breed - although I do want to breed this species it looks as though I will either have to take out a small bank loan and buy an adult female or just buy a young pair and forget about breeding from these two.

I think 300 grams is a normal weight for a leachie his size ( For me all those american animals weighting 400 grams or more are to fat), I also think that both are the same morph, I own animals from the so called normal GT morph whose ancestors were collected in the mnt Koghis region by Seipp and I also own animals that were produced by M.Troeger and that are pure dark morphs. I don't see much difference between both morphs and one dark morph animal is even lighter than the normal morphs. Anyway great looking animals, I realy love the male do you remeber who produced him or who sold him to you ?

Amazing looking individuals

I like the second picture, if you could see the whole of his front foot it would look awesome, they're massive
