Well just when I though it was getting close to the end of the crested laying season, I found another 20 eggs last night (plus 2 infertile).

All females still look great, CGD seem's to be keeping them in top shape.

Also had 6 more babies this week. Got a few more weeks before the chahoua hatch too.

OK Cool! Are Chahouas generally more expensive than other rhacs? which type of rhac would you say is the hardest to keep?

What are the times for the crested breeding season? I.e. when is it due to start again?

Hi James, the crested season for me was from April and still laying, Had another 20 eggs in the last 10 days, plus 15 plus babies hatched in that time.

The night temps are now really dropping so I expect the egg laying to drop off real soon.

Ive not had a great deal of luck, had my 2 females about 4 months and only had 3 eggs (ewll 4 but one was infertile). Then again that was there first clutch so maybe theyll pick up next season.
