I know this probably gets asked all the time but I did use the search facility and the pics from the results were outdated and had been deleted so all I got was the red cross. Anyway I'm just looking for some inspiration for a really natural looking crestie tank as I've had mine looking the same now for a bit and it needs cleaning anyway so I think I'm going to do a full change.
And I do understand that people also like to use very basic and cleaner housing options so that they can keep an eye on things (especially breeders) so if you want to post pics of those kinds too feel free I'm just interested in picking up ideas.
Thanks |

Not the best pictures but you get the idea. Here's my main crested setup, I'll be setting up more breeder friendly vivs though when all of my cresteds are mature. I'll have to find something different to live in this viv when that time comes . At the moment a single juvenile named Herbert is the owner of this pad

I love that setup! Is that a 45x45x60 viv? _________________

Yeah it is.
Some areas of the back and side coco panels are still a bit bare, but time and growth should sort that out. _________________ Steve P |

I just spotted Herbert too! I bought a 30x30x45 and a 45x45x60 for Spud the other day.. I put him in the 30x30x45 but the crickets kept hiding up behind the backing Not sure how to get around that yet so he's back in the faunarium for now!
Are they all live plants too? _________________

Yes they are Try stuffing some moss or paper towel into the small gap at the top of the poly background, it will stop them from accessing the back.
The little buggers chew the poly as well as I found out in my 45x45x45 leo viv _________________ Steve P |

Thanks, I'll try ang get some night time photos of the tank because under the red light the tank looks so much better and my little crestie really enjoys chasing curly winged flies around the tank. |
