I am new to the keeping of geckos, I have set up my viv with a heat mat and a mat stat and I have a digital thermometer.
The readings I am getting are around 81.4 F in the warm end which I believe is to low how would I raise the temps ???????
Anybody also got ant pics of there viv setups ?? Thanks a lot Dave |

Turn the thermostat up or get a bigger (higher wattage) heat mat. |

I don't use a heat mat, but I drop the temperature by a few degrees at night. |

Yep, 24/7 for the heatmat.
I have a small bulb for lighting that warms the air up a few degrees during daytime, keeps them happy to have a warm, bright day with some heat from above and a cooler, dark night with heat through their bellies. _________________

I dont use the heat mat as a sorce of heat for the viv but merely to warm the cooler end. I have a ceramic bulb that is my main heat sorce for the viv. My viv is 4ft so i do get a good range of temperature for them. _________________ royals
