I have just placed a nesting box in my crested gecko tank, but wasn't sure if it would be big enough...
It is just a cricket box, filled to the top with organic soil (about 2 inches).
I just wondered if this is big enough? And what do you use?

I use an old ice cream carton which is about 6" by 8", my geckos seem happy enough with it. _________________

So would you say I need a bigger one? Also do I need a lid on? As at the moment I don't have one on. _________________ 1.1.1 Crested Geckos

i have never bred cresties but i have read up on it so here is what i can remember.
Use a tub measuring 6 inches by 4 with a hole measuring around 2 inches cut in the lid, so that the female can enter and feel secure. Fill with a substrate that holds water such as vermiculite (5 parts vermiculite to 1 part water), make sure the substrate remains moist. _________________ Tom
