ive heard some conflicting reports about this - some people say you can mix adult cresties and gargoyles together in the same (big) viv.
i've even read it in one of the more reputable books by P. de Volsji.
have any of you tried this before? and whats the outcome been? |

I personally wouldn't mix them, the gargoyle will probably eat the cresteds tail and of course that doesn't grow back. _________________

This is the image I always put up when people ask this question....

Look at those teeth.
I agree with Scott, personally I wouldn't mix the two species. _________________ Best wishes, Jackie

if you read the book "Rhacodactylus" by Allen Repashy, Phillipe deVosjoli and Frank Fast, it will tell you that as long as the size differences arnt too great you may be able to get away with housing cresties, sarasa's and chahoua's together but the gargoyles are best reared individually due to their tail eating preferences.
cheers, will _________________ 61 and counting |
