Brandling worms aren't so good apparently, and very foul tasting. No idea about red worms |

When i had a group of paramesotriton newts, they would eat most things, even my fingers, but they regurgitated the brandling worms. They seem to produce some horrible yellow stuff. I'm sure i heard they're quite acidic too. |

Hi there, Dave @ Insectsunlimited & it is a fairly widely known fact to naturalists that toads are notoriously abnoxious to eat but frogs aren`t. The toads may get this quality from eating bitter worms & may, enjoy them. One man`s meat, is another man`s poison, so they say. The Cinnabar moth is poisonous & the caterpillars of the Cinnabar moth live on ragwort which is one of our most toxic plants... able to kill a horse. Just a thought, don`t take it as gospel. Regards Dave. _________________ Dave Messer @ Insectsunlimited.
