could anybody let me know where i could get these from as im turning half my big book case into the new chameleon tank.

would somewhere like b&q or homebase do them?

B&Q and home base should do them or a glass shop.

brilliant cheers mate. just looked online and couldnt find any on there website (rock daughter to sleep so cant go up there at the mo) will pop up there later and get some aswell as a nice orchid for my veiled to climb on.

could i use perspex for the doors as i have a pretty much unlimited supplyof this in all shapers and forms?

you could, but it will warp slightly and in a runner thats no good Confused Glass is IMO the best thing for this sort of application.

cheers ive just gone and got my 6mm glass but am having trouble finding the runners! as soon as i have them i can get it all together and put the vents in the back

I would have done it the other way round mate got the runners first then the glass, just incase its a real tight fit and all.

all sorted now. got the runners from a local aquarium builder for £1.50 for the top and bottom runners. got everything fitted into the tank and camilla the yemen is quiet happy living in there! she has loads of room to climb about now. will take sum pictures tommorow when i get sum new batteries for my camera!
