This is the photograph of my youngster from a mating of my Albino Bull female with my normal Northern Pine boy. The photo was taken last November when the youngster was just 4 months old. Isn't his colour just brilliant, I am so delighted with him. Each time he sloughs the colour get just a wee bit better, so waiting to see how he eventually turns out.
His name is Quanah which is Native American for 'fragrant' - anyone who has kept these snakes will know what I mean, huge eaters and so huge amounts of poo.....
When he is old enough he is going in with his Mother, which should produce some very interesting albinos, in the meantime his parents are mating again this year and so lots more youngsters - I hope. |
