I'll be stuck with a hymenochirus boettgeri shortly - and I've nowhere to put it.
Will he be safe with my oriental firebellied newts, or would he be better off with the Dojo loaches and Cories in my fish tank?
I'd prefer it if he'd be ok with the newts, that's more geared towards his habitat - but it may be a little too cold... :S

How shortly
Do you have anything like a plastic box big enough for a few days - then cover with a pair of tights and some elastic to stop escape. A desk lamp can be used for heat if necessary.
I wouldn't want to risk the spread of disease to any current animals. _________________

He's fully quarantined, and lives on his own at the moment, so that's not a problem.
It needs a proper home here, so I'm fighting to decide where he should go.
Sounds like it'll be a fish tank job - but concerned for my platies - apparantly this frog has bitten guppy tails off...
I'm not so sure the owner has IDed it right. It's at least 6 months old, under 2" and they think it has pretty webby feet. Grey, and looks more like the Hy than the xenopus. |
