Looks like those dam pouch rats needing a security upgrade!!

I walked into the room on Thursday morning to find they had barged their door open and escaped. they had gone on a mini rampage, breaking 20plus ceramic water bowls off a shelf and chewing a hole through a wooden plinth (big enough to stick you fist in!).

I thought I had it sorted by locking the door shut with a padlock but now the clever gits have decided if they can't open it they would go through it!! The photos below show the bent bars. I've now added a second padlock on the top of the door but it looks like if they really try hard enough they will be able to bend and squeeze through Laughing

there's some truth in that!!! Mr Jingles* lives wild in my reptile room and has so far escaped electrocution even after chewing 50% of all my electric cables, some down the the bare wire!!! Evil or Very Mad

*Mr Jingles is an escaped feeder rat...he was about to be put to sleep and fed off when he made a sharp exit and hid out of reach...that was 3 months ago!!!
