Ok I have a brand new flourescent tube controller, it says suitable for 30 and 36 inch tubes 25-30 watts. But I need to use a 24inch tube, which is only 18 to 20 watts. Now can I run the smaller tube off this starter safetly? Or do I need to buy another controller?
Thanks Love Jan

I have done this myself before, the tube works OK but I have found does not last very long as the wattage regulation is incorrect and in my experience it fries the tubes after a few weeks so false economy I found out to my cost.
