I've had my 2 leos now for bout 5 days. i have fed them twice n they only ate 1 cricket each. i fed them today n they ate two each. i left 2 mor ein there in case they get hungry but i was wondering in there is anything wrong with them and why they arne't eating properly |

They're probably still just settling in and getting used to their new surroundings. When this happens they tend to eat less as they've been a bit spooked, but don't worry as they're sure to settle in and eat properly when they do!
I always leave the crickets in with the leos - as they're nocturnal and this is when they will most likely start to hunt their dinners. I make sure there is food for the crickets at all times though so they don't turn on the geckos!
If you're still worried in a few days, you could try offering them different foodstuffs such as locusts and mealworms, as these may tempt them more! |
